The Longevity, Health and Aging Research Center (CITED) was founded on May 7th, 1992 with the presence of Fidel Castro Ruz. Today shows the condition of a National Reference Center for the Development of Gerontology and Geriatrics specialties, as well as for research in the areas of Longevity, Aging and Health in the Elderly. This clinic is a leader in the training of human resources devoted to the care of elderly people. CITED, as a specialized center, it is responsible for the introduction, development, validation and generalization of clinical, surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic technologies in Gerontology and Geriatrics.
